WikiLeaks Assange wanted U.S. cables released months ago

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange late last year told associates his website’s entire cache of U.S. diplomatic cables “must somehow” be released, according to a written record of the discussion.
